Employment: Tire Technician
This entry level position provides you with the knowledge you need to build a promising career in the Tire & Automotive Service Business; many of our Store Managers, Auto Technicians and Corporate staff began their careers in this position.
Although prior experience is a plus, it is not a pre-requisite; we will teach you basic knowledge of tires and light vehicle service and train you on how to use all of the equipment in the shop. You are required to have a great attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
The Tire Technician is responsible for performing and diagnosing basic automotive and tire service type work. The Tire Technician must perform work as assigned and follow all company policies and procedures. The Tire Technician must maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment including performing routine maintenance on company equipment.
All Aspects of Vehicle Diagnosis & Service
Keeping abreast of Rapidly Changing Automotive Technologies. Works to become ASE certified and attend automotive training as vehicles change every year, request training as needed. Become knowledgeable about TPMS Systems
Oil Changes and Light Vehicle Service
Assisting Automotive Technicians
Maintaining Shop Tool Inventory for required tasks
Read all symptom cards before inspecting the vehicle.
Dismounting and Mounting Tires
High Speed Computer Balancing
Diagnosing and repairing Tires
Applicant must be willing to work a retail schedule; two locations are open seven days a week. We have both full time and part time positions available.
